Dosa Batter - 1 1/2 ladle full ( for one dosa)
Chopped onion - 1 or 2 tbsp
Oil - few drops
Heat a tawa/griddle ....pour and spread the batter as dosas...spread it little thicker than the regular dosas....immediately spread the chopped onion...the chopped onions will stick to the batter...spray some oil on top...cook till the down part in lightly brown...carefully turn to cook the other side...cook for 30 to 45 seconds and serve with chutney and or sambar.
These dosas are usually thicker, but they taste great...you can make small dosas and also make it as onion uttappam. You can cover the dosa with a lid/plate and just cook one side or also can turn and cook the other side.
