Cauliflower- Gobhi-Hoovu Kosu Poriyal/Stir Fry

Cauliflower florets - 2 cups
Onion - 1 small chopped fine
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Dhaniya powder - 1/2 tsp
Amchur powder - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - few
Urad dhal - few
Jeera/cumin seeds - few
Salt as needed
Oil - 1 - 1 1/2 tbsp

Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds, urad dhal and jeera....when they start to splutter up add onions and fry till they are transparent....next add cauliflower florets ( immersed in hot water for 5 minutes) and fry well...reduce flame and add salt...cover with a lid/plate and cook till they are soft but lightly crisp...keep stirring in between....finally add all the powders and cook together for 2 minutes...this is an easy and a simple dish that can be cooked withing few minutes...can also add some peas for colour variation and quantity.
