Potato / Alugadde / Aloo / Urulaikilangu / Bangaladumpa

Potato - 3
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt as needed
Mustard seeds - few
Urad dhal - few
Curry leaves - few

If needed add few drops of lime juice at the end(optional)

Peel and cut potatoes into small cubes.

Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds, urad dhal and curry leaves..when they all splutter up add potato and fry well..fry till they are soft but firm..add salt turmeric powder and chilli powder...fry for 2 more minutes.

My kids love potatoes and this is one without any onions and also very simple to prepare.
