0 MASALA PAPAD


Masala Papad/Appalam

This is a very common appetiser in many restaurants and is one of my favourite starter.



Papad/ Appalam - 4
Onion - 1 medium finely chopped
Tomato - 1 or 2 finely chopped ( remove seeds and chop)
Cucumber - 1 small finely chopped
Carrot - 1 grated
Cilantro - few chopped
Salt - pinch
Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp(or green chillies chopped fine)
Chat masala - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - few drops


Fry papad in oil or in a microwave for about 40 seconds.(or can directly roast in low flame). Best papad is to use Lizzat papad( masala or plain)

 


Take a mixing bowl and add onion, tomato, cucumber, carrot, cilantro, salt, chilli powder and chat masala...mix well ...then add lemon juice and mix ...
Place one papad at a time and spread the mixed ingredients on top...you can always fry papad and spread the masala just before serving.
