Sago/sabudana/Javvarisi/Sabakki - 1 1/2 cups
Onion - 1 medium chopped
Green chillies - 3 slit long or chopped fine
Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Ginger - a small piece chopped fine
Cilantro - few
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad dhal - 1/4 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Salt as needed
Oil - 1 tbsp
1. Soak sago in water for 30 to 45 minutes....drain completely and set aside for 2 to 3 hours.
2. Dry roast peanuts...remove skin and powder coarsely...
3. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds, urad dhal ,jeera and curry leaves..when they splutter up add onions and saute...next add ginger and green chillies...fry till onions are light brown...now add the sago, peanut powder and salt...mix lightley and garnish with chopped cilantro leaves.
