This is simple and common rice preRice - 2 cups
Rice - 1 1/2 cups
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Curry leaves - few
Peanuts - 1 - 2 tbsp
Red chillies - 2 or 3 broken
Lime/lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Spices - Channa dhal, mustard seeds, urad dhal - all few
Cook rice seperately with salt ....cool..keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai and add the spices and peanuts ,when they turn light brown add red chillies and curry leaves and saute for few seconds ....next add the cooked rice and turmeric powder... switch off flame and pour and mix lime juice ... garnish with chopped cilantro.
