Ladies Finger/ Okra/ Vendakkai/ Bendakaaya Chinese Style

A very different and tasty version using ladies finger. Just a little touch of soya sauce and we can find so much change. Goes well with any curries and rice just like any other dry veg as a side dish.

Ladies Finger/Okra - 1 pack( around 30)
Onion - 1 medium ( chopped into thin length wise and then one cut in the middle of it)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Ajjinamotto - very little ( Optional)
Soya Sauce - few drops
Salt as needed

( Can also deep fry the okras in oil till crispy and follow the procedure).

Cut okras first in the middle(just like a slit in the middle can also make 2 slits) and then cut into small 1 1/2 inch pieces. Heat a tbsp of oil and add the okras' and fry seperately till done(until the stickiness leaves)and keep aside.

In a kadai/pan heat a tbsp of oil and fry onions until golden brown, next add ginger garlic paste and saute. Next add chilli powder,salt, ajjinamotto, soya sauce and mix once. Finally add the fried okras and lightly mix.
